Refine ore, wood, fiber, or hide into bars, planks, cloth, or leather at the matching royal-city station. Compare flat through pristine (.0–.4) enchants. Profit is measured per 10,000 focus (with focus) or per craft (without). Material return rate, focus-cost efficiency, listing tax, and optional station usage fee are included. Always refine in the bonus city when you can.
Average uses the median price across all six royal cities. This route was logged in . Turn on Live prices in the header, then pick a royal city for route-specific quotes.

Refining is measured per 10,000 focus when you spend focus
Refine in the bonus city for the best resource return rate: Thetford (bars), Fort Sterling (planks), Lymhurst (cloth), Martlock (leather). Each craft needs 4 raw + 1 lower-tier refined for T6. Focus per craft depends on refining mastery and specialization. Calculator presets map to focus-cost efficiency: cost halves every 10,000 efficiency (wiki).
Resource
Smelter in Thetford for the local production bonus. RRR assumes bonus-city refining. Header city picks which market prices load.
Tier
Enchant
Raw and lower-tier refined must match the same enchant when T4+. T3 refined (e.g. Thick Leather) is always flat. Focus cost rises with uncommon / rare / exceptional / pristine. Live prices for .1–.4 scale from flat sell orders when enchanted quotes are missing.
Focus
Spend focus on each craft. Measure profit per 10,000 focus.
Focus efficiency
~10,000 focus-cost efficiency. Focus costs about half of base. About 82 focus per T6.0 craft.
Material prices

Silver/ea is the market sell-order price per item (what you pay to buy materials, and what you list the refined output at). Returned materials use the same price so net cost matches replacement cost. Listing tax applies when you sell the refined output. Focus per craft depends on refining mastery and specialization. Calculator presets map to focus-cost efficiency: cost halves every 10,000 efficiency (wiki).
Pick one resource line and its bonus city: Thetford (metal bars), Fort Sterling (planks), Lymhurst (cloth), Martlock (leather).
Buy raw resources and the lower-tier refined material on the market (or bring your own gather). Check buy orders before large fills.
Use a city station with a low usage fee, or refine on your island if the fee in town is high. Island return rates are worse than the bonus city.
Craft with focus when the calculator shows positive profit per 10,000 focus at your return rate and focus efficiency.
List the refined output in the same city (or the city with best sell prices). Recheck margins when buy spreads move.
Without focus, only refine when the no-focus return rate still clears fees, or when you are leveling refining mastery.
